Heute wurde ein neuer Patch für Call of Duty 4 veröffentlicht. Der Patch enthält neben weniger bugfixes 4 neue Maps, auch bekannt als das Varity Mappack, Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, und Killhouse. Die neue verbesserte KillCam wurde leider nicht integriert.
Momentan gibt es leider noch keine Linuxfiles aber die sollen schon bei Activision zum Test vorliegen. Deshalb bitte noch warten mit der Installation weil unser Gameserver noch nicht gepatched werden kann.

In der Readme nach der Patch installation kann man folgendes nachlesen:

The readme has the following "fixes" listed. There may be other things changed, such as the kill cam, which weren't considered "fixes":

- New maps Creek, Chinatown, Broadcast, and Killhouse

- Hardcore and oldschool server browser filters

- Fix for a Denial of Service attack.

- Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5
